Right now I'm trying to wake up by drinking coffee. I don't know why I persist in this venture, since caffeine has little effect on me. Sugar on the other hand would have me bouncing off the walls!

I have ingested sugar (a bit of someone's birthday cake, closely followed by a completely gratuitous macaroon). I feel high as a kite! Perhaps I should not post until the sugar leaves my system. I shall go and sit quietly.

Minty, I think that notice should have read "f*$king nagging". Good way to circumvent the swear word filters.

They're not nagging you about polenta because of my last 'yum or yuk' are they? If so, I am very sorry!

Right now I'm trying to work up the energy to make dinner. Or at least study the fridge to see what's possible.

Edit: cheese on toast it is then (note to self: go shopping).
