Are some of you really upset with the way the game looks?

I notice some peoples comments on youtube,Sims 2 forum,and here saying that the graphics "suck" or they "haven't made much of a change" , ???and I'm just wondering why some people are saying these thingsd because I noyice big changes in TS3.I saw great things from the trailer like small details from,water sprinklers,wires from electronics,small things on tables like make up and accesories,and I also noticed trees swaying in the breeze.I saw the comparison shots and I definatley see an upgrade.I know theres more to do but,I think it looks great as far as an graphic upgrade.I just get upset when people say these things about TS3  >:-(.How do you feel about the current graphics?and if your one of the people who said they hate the graphics could you please explain to me how you thought the graphics would be? {blink}

I think, since we moved from 2D to 3D in TS2, we were all overwhelmed by the change and we sort of instinctively expected a huge change this time round, even though we knew that wasn't actually possible.

I imagined the graphics very much as they are, really. But sometimes I see pictures and the graphics are great, then I'll look at another and I'll be like 'yuck'. But the graphics look beautiful in comparison to TS2, which is getting really outdated right now graphics-wise.

the thing is that with the transition from TS1 to TS2 the main focus was aging and the graphics
now with transition from TS2 to TS3 the main focus is gameplay and seamless Nhood
plus most people have probebly seen the trailer only once before making those comments so there is no way they could have noticed all the new changes

I have beaten you! I'f seen it for like 45 times. Really, I'm not kidding. I watch it because I love it, and because I don't have much else to see about The Sims 3.

Hehe, same here! Completely! It's the only thing we have that really delves into the game, and I love watching it over and over to see if I can spot something new. I really love it! And the song is great too, really happy and Sim-ish.
