In order for further assistance, you should install the latest patch.

Now, if you don't want to download a patch (I highly recommend you download the latest one), cut all the files in the downloads folder and paste them to a new folder on the desktop. Try running the game. If it works, then go through your downloads one by one until you find the one(s) that cause the game to not work.

Or, you can uninstall the game and reinstall but you would lose all your progress.

Or, try running a different EP or SP.

Or, see if you can play anything else in the disk drive (DVD, blank CD to write to, install something else). This can help to tell us if the disk drive is broke.

Now, these are the quickest and easiest things right now. Let me know what happens after you try them.
