Moving house from horizontal to vertical lot??

I'm wondering how to move my house onto a different sized lot the right way. The house I'm building is currently on a 40x30 lot. I want to move it to a 36x47 lot. The house only takes up about half the width of the 40 right now, so on one side it's all blank. I want to move this horizontal shaped lot to a vertical shaped one and just, say, crop off the empty side. Basically, I want the backyard to be in the back, not the side of the house. But when I move the house to the other lot, it fits, but it won't face the right way (the front of the house is facing sideways). How do I make it face the road??
