Hello,
We had a problem with being unable to launch the sims 3 after the new patch from yesterday. It turns out if you refused the first prompt to install the patch, you would be unable to launch the game again. We found some pretty complicated fixes online, but a great one turned out to be time machine. If you have time machine enabled, restore your sims folder to a couple of days ago. It will launch like it used to, and prompt you to install the new patch. This time say yes! Hope that helps someone. |
