Why do you keep playing TS2?

Well for starters my laptop doesn't run sims3 that well but after I ended up having a crack at sims3 for a week on the bf's laptop and I got to say, I was very much missing number 2 by the end. I think I just wasn't using it very well, it's cool i can walk literally EVERYWHERE but...why should I? So I didn't, trying to use the whole gamelot was a bit....foreign I guess. I don't like the moodlet system or the overall graphics of the game. Don't get me wrong, it's lovely and I've seen some great stuff from it but *I* could never make my game look that good.
sims 2 is just the game for me I guess.
