I think I watch it more out of habit than anything else these days! I know what you mean about the new Doctor. I'm not sure what I expected, but I agree that it's not quite right at the moment. My main gripe is the excessive emotion of almost every episode. Every five minutes we are told that the Doctor is so caring and he saves people and it is all just excessively emotive. Except that I remain unmoved. It's a bit like TS4 - they said there were emotions but saying it doesn't make it so. They should write some scripts that are just fun and crazy and then the actors might have a bit more to work with.

But OMG Minty - tartan daleks! I would so love that. Please let there be tartan daleks!
