My Official Legacy Thread

This post may be the second to the last, or the third to the last on this generation.  It really depends on how long I play the family.

After a long day of working at McDonalds, Enrique was tired and ready to come how to a nice, relaxing, slow-paced family.  He just couldn't wait to lay in his bed, take off those shoes, and go to sleep.  As soon as he'd gotten out the car, Misty greeted him with a hug, as she did everyday.

"Daddy's home!!!"




Amilee, on the other hand, was just taking out the trash when she saw Misty and Enrique.  She was happy that her hubby was home.  She interrupted the two and told Misty to let her talk to her father.  Misty stomped away, and dragged herself upstairs to her dollhouse.  She was so bored.  She had no one to play with.  She sure missed Riviera. 










Soon, Giovanni and Kaiden went upstairs to see what their little sister was doing.  They were concerned about her, since it was so quiet up there.  They were used to hearing Misty and Riviera playing loudly.  When they saw Misty playing boredly by herself, they joined her.

First, Giovanni joined.

Misty:  You're gonna play with me?
Gio:  Yeah.
Misty:  Ok, you are Breanna and I am Barbie.
Gio:  Breanna has tangled hair and her clothes don't match.  Why can't I be Ken?
Misty:  Barbie broke up with Ken.  It said that on the news.




Kaiden:  Move, Gio, let me play really fast.  You don't know how to have fun.
Gio:  I do too know how to play Barbie.  Here, lemme see if you are better.
Kaiden:  I want to be Ken, so hand me Ken.
Misty:  They broke up, so you cannot be in Barbie's house.  So you are outside.
Kaiden:  I know.  I'm outside, beating on the door.  "Barbie!  Take me back!  Why did you leave me!  I loved you!  Open the door!"
Misty:  Stop!!!
Kaiden:  No!  You come out here, right now and talk to me!
Misty:  I was serious, stupid!
Kaiden:  Barbie, I'm serious too!




Enrique comes upstairs to relax and hears all that screaming.  He comes into that room and is in shock.

'What the heck!  My boys play Barbies!"
"Yeah, dad.  I like Barbies.  So does Gio."
"OMG!!!  I thought that I had young men!  What are you doing!"
"I'm Ken."
"Shut up, Kaiden.  I'm going to bed before I have a stroke or something."




(In the bedroom, talking to Amilee)

"I walk in on the boys playing Barbies."
"They are just being nice to Misty."
"They were enjoying it!"
"We have creative boys who can make fun out of anything."
"What should I do!"
"You haven't spent a lot of time with your boys."
"That's it!!!  I'm going to the store!"
"Not right now, my snugglebug.  In a hour."








"I hope that stupid Giovanni doesn't walk in again...




(The next morning)

Kaiden:  Why did you wake us up so early and why do we have to be dressed?"
Enrique:  Men know how to play chess.  The ones that do look good to the ladies.
Kaiden:  I am already cute enough.  You cannot talk, Gio. 
Amilee:  You look so cute, Kaiden.  In your little suit!  Lemme take a picture.
Enrique:  They are men.
Amilee:  These men are my babies.
Enrique:  First, Giovanni will practice chess with me.




Hours later... "I have to go to work.  I'll challenge you after work, Kaiden."

Ten at night... "Come on, Kaiden.  I'm wasn't kidding!"




Six in the morning...

"Dad, I am pooped and I have school in two hours."
"Kaiden, you sleep in school anyway."
"I beated you!!! Well, see you later, chess freak."






Meanwhile, Misty grew into a teen the night they were playing chess.




"I just got the pictures developed!  Don't you look cute, Kaiden!"
"Mom!"




A few nights later, Giovanni and Carina grew up.  I went ahead and grew up Amilee and Enrique then, because it wouldn't had made sense for them to be still middle-aged.  They had to be in their early sixties now.  Amilee would had had four grown children, if it wasn't for Kamira passing.  I just felt that she needed to be at a reasonable age to have four grown children and three teens, Kaiden growing soon.

Almost a week later, early in the morning, Enrique got dressed in his white tux and headed outside to play some chess by himself.  He was hoping that Kaiden would join him, but Kaiden didn't.  He hated chess, especially early in the morning with a tuxedo. 

"Stupid, no good son."  Enrique mumbled.  "What I need is a good son.  Too bad that Amilee can't have kids anymore.  I wish Riviera was a Riviero."




That night, Enrique had another discussion with Amilee.

"Do you think that our kids grew up too fast?"  Enrique asked Amilee.  "It feels like yesterday when the twins were in your belly.  Now they are out the house."
"Not really."  Amilee responded.  "We had about seven of them.  Five of them yours.  I am kind glad they are growing up.  Soon, we can have the house to ourselves and see our grandkids."
"I remember when the boys were little.  They wanted to spend time with me.  I really didn't give them the time.  Now they are almost grown and out the house.  They are so independent that they don't need their daddy any more."
"Enrique, what you need is a hobby, or force them to do things.  I sometimes feel that I am not needed either, but we parents have to let our babies grow up."




Amilee woke up early the next morning.  "I know what we both can enjoy.  We will have a little baby in the house soon for both of us to play with."




Amilee finally called the Animal Shelter when she was sure that she wanted a "baby".

"Yes, I would like to order a cat."
"Ok, let me tell you about the ones up for adoption."
(After listening to the person on the phone)
"I like Baxter.  I would love to adopt him."
"Okay.  He will be here shortly."




Baxter soon came a half hour later.  Enrique got up late in the morning to find a cat in his house.

Amilee:  Surprise!!!  We got us a little baby to play with!!!
Enrique:  Are you getting senile?!  That's a cat!!!
Amilee:  And Baxter's my little baby...  Just hold him.  He is nice.
(Enrique picks Baxter up)
"He's scratching me!!!  Owwww!!!"




"Stupid cat.  I show Amilee what a real baby looks like..."
(Calls the pound.)




A hour later...

Abbey:  WOOF!
Enrique:  That's my baby!!  I'm daddy!  And your master.  Have a treat, sweetie!"
Abbey: (Jumps on Enrique and snatches the treat out his hand.)
Enrique:  A natural football player!  The son I never had....




Then the bus comes and Kaiden runs out.

"Wow dad!  Is that our dog?"
"Yup.  Is she a rough one?  Your mom is upset, but so what."
Amilee:  "That stupid dog is gonna eat Baxter!"
Kaiden:  Who's Baxter?
Enrique:  Her wimpy cat.  Go take this baby for a walk.
Abbey:  WOOF!
Kaiden:  My type of woman.  Let's go my girlfriend.
Enrique:  My son is confused.  He knows girls are demanding, but he don't know what they look like...






The next afternoon, Kaiden's principal called.  She wanted to speak to his parents about Kaiden's F in school.  Good thing Kaiden picked up the phone.




The next morning, the bus comes.  Kaiden hides in Misty's room instead of going to school.  "My stupid parents won't know that I'm not here.  I'll sleep here until they come home."






Later that night...

Misty:  I told mom that Kaiden wasn't at school.
Lilyana:  What did she say.
Misty:  She was mad.  I think that she is gonna pop him.
Lilyana:  Should feed him to Butch, or whatever that dog is.
Misty:  I also told mom that he is flunking. 
Lilyana:  It's his senior year and  he graduates in a week.  Tomorrow's finals, so he'd better come.




Amilee:  Kaiden Timothy Thorton!  Come here now!
Misty:  OMG!  She called him by his whole name.  This is gonna be good.
Kaiden:  (runs to his mother)  ....Yes....
Amilee:  Why are you flunking and missing school?
Kaiden:  I really don't know.  I am just not smart.  I'm flunking and I haven't never made good grades.  Finals is tomorrow, and I rather will flunk, because my grades are so low.
Amilee:  You will try anyways.  I am disappointed in you!  Why didn't you tell me you had problems in school?




Abbey:  WOOF!
Kaiden:  Mom!  Abbey's attacking Baxter!
(after fight)
Kaiden:  I think he's dead.
Amilee: (crying)  Enrique!!
Enrique:  He's okay.  He's just scared.  He's breathing.




The next morning...

"Dad, can I stay home?"
"Sure. Kaiden.  You don't have tests or anything?"
"No."
"Fine. I don't care."
(Bus comes and leaves)
(Amilee gets up)
"Why aren't you at school!"
"Dad says I can stay home!"
(slaps Kaiden)
"So you would rather flunk your finals?"
(Argues with Enrique)




In the end, Kaiden is in hot water and flunked his senior year.  He doesn't want to go back to school in the fall and would rather take a job in the slacker career.

One morning, Enrique was out playing chess all by himself again.  Amilee finally felt sorry for Enrique.  She knew that he really wanted Kaiden to join him, but she couldn't force Kaiden to do anything.  So she got out of bed and played chess with him.  It felt special to Enrique that Amilee joined him.




The afternoon after the last day of school, Kaiden didn't bother going into the house right away.  He felt bad that he'd flunked his senior year and was dropping out.  He knew his parents were disappointed, so he went to talk to Abbey.

Kaiden:  Hey girl.
Abbey:  WOOF!
Kaiden:  It's just me and you by ourselves.




Abbey:  (Stands up on her hind legs) WOOF! WOOF!
Kaiden:  Whoa!  I don't like you like that, girl.  But you are still my girlfriend.




Later on that night, the obediance trainer came to train Abbey.
"Sit!"
"WOOF!"
"No! Sit!"
"WOOF! WOOF!"
"No! No!"
"WOOF!"
"Get this filthy mutt off me!"
"Don't talk about my girlfriend like that!"
Enrique:  I hope our son finds himself a woman someday. 




That night, Kaiden grew up into a very handsome man.




Amilee:  My baby is a little man now!
Kaiden:  It's okay, mom.
Amilee:  I feel old now!  I wanna shrink you back into a baby and put you back in my belly!
Kaiden:  I don't mind doing that again.  (mumbles) Growing up sucks...




Kaiden: (holding camcorder)  These are my sisters. 
Misty:  Shut up!
Kaiden:  The one that thinks she's cute is Lilyana and the nerd is Misty.
Lilyana:  Go find a life!  We're watching a movie!
Kaiden:  I have a life.  I'm sharing some of it to tape you two.




A sim week later, Lily had a birthday and became an adult.




Mya and Riviera were guests.  Kaiden took the time with Riviera seriously.  He wanted to teach her a few things.

Kaiden:  As a girl, your uncle Kaiden is always right.  Do not listen to mean Aunt Misty.
Riviera:  Why?
Kaiden:  She teaches and lives in the ways of a dork.  She says I don't have a life.
Riviera:  You don't.
Kaiden:  I do.  I'm sharing some of it with you.
Misty:  Stop putting garbage in her mind.




A night later....

Enrique:  I missed wrestling cuz of work.  Now you two wrestle!
Kaiden:  Dad...
Enrique:  Not right now!
Kaiden:  Wanna play chess?
Enrique:  (Starts crying) Chess?  I will love to, my son!








The following night, Kaiden moved out.  Lily was already gone.  She didn't take no time moving out.  Kaiden bought his girlfriend with him.  Amilee cried both tears of joy and sorrow.  Her baby was moving out and that monster dog was going with him.






Time went by for the family with one last child in the house, because Misty grew up fast.  (She's only four days behind Lily)  She also didn't take no time moving out.






Finally, with all the kids out the house, the house was quiet. 

Amilee:  It is quiet.  It hasn't been this quiet for a long time.
Enrique:  I cannot get used to this.  Just me, you, and Baxter.

Enrique finally retired.  He wanted to spend the rest of his life doing things all day with the love of his life, Amilee.




They decide to take a picture together.  Baxter didn't want to be left out, so he hopped in with them.

Amilee did not turn out like her father.  She married a husband that loves her and they had I think five kids together.  She had seven kids in all, but he took in the two that were her's.  They accepted each other's flaws and their marriage turned out successful. 

Now that is the end of that generation, next, we will move on to follow the life of Mya.  What kinds of things do her future hold for her?  You will not see the last of Amilee, Enrique, and the rest though. (Maybe my least favorite children, you may have seen the last of)
