That's probably just luck lol

I do know that there can be a max of 8 sims and there can only be a max of 10 on a lot that includes pets and sims. So with a family of 4, there can only be 6 pets and with a family of 3, a max of 7 pets. I swear there is also a max on pets, but I can't remember the number lol.
