The Official Nonsense Thread

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Busy weekend! Worked all Saturday, then went to my friend's house that night. Woke up bright and early Sunday morning for another bug day at work, sold some leopard print lingerie to my history teacher (that was awkward, we both kind of stood there with our poker faces). Then went off to the fireworks/bonfire at the beach for Guy Fawkes. Now I'm about to get some much needed sleep. Good night world!

Poor Bobert. Condemned for the rest of this year every time he gets a history class to associate it with leopard print lingerie. If you have to appeal your grade after your finals, I'm sure that will be taken as a mitigating circumstance! Biggrin

I had no idea you celebrate Bonfire Night in New Zealand. Today in parts of Yorkshire like Leeds and Sheffield its Mischief Night, so that will keep the police there busy dealing with all the complaint calls. So far the local kids have been pretty quiet in letting off fireworks (last night being the first major night of it), but tomorrow will be ridiculous as ever.

I remember someone claiming all these festivals happening at once is because they're all really replacements for the old pagan festival of Samhain, which was a sort of last big party to cheer everyone up before the gloom of winter arrived.

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
I'm strongly in favour of pagan festivals seeing as they normally come with fine feasts.

I saw a twitter tweet thing from the police warning the youths that throwing eggs or flour (as tricks of they don't get treats) can constitute criminal damage or even assault. I'm more worried if they set down the eggs and flour and start chucking bricks!

Why are friends like trampolines? Is it because foxes come to bounce on them when they least expect it?

Cute.
Anyway I feel like saying what im going to do in my next year of Simming. I couldn't be bothered to make a new thread and I didn't really think I needed to, so I'm posting here.
So next Year I first plan to do a "Sim Big Brother", which should be done in the month of February. Then I will move on to do another story/legacy, which will be done throughout the year. I also plan to go full out with the new "Homes For Sims" Channel (at least one speed build uploaded each month). One last thing I plan to do is start working on a new Sims World, which you can expect to have the word Diamond in it's name. Big Grin

Yes well I chose Diamond because something along the lines of Diamond River was where my first legacy, The Cresents was set.
