Handy that, having an IT ace for a mum!

***Waits for Sims Forums to be assaulted by hordes of angry drummers at Breebree711 dissing them!***

I think there's a natural advantage in Skyrim if you're a Sims 3 player. You appreciate the subtleties of the game and get the full experience. All that learning the patience to skill up pays off. A lot of the gamers forums I've noticed talking about the game are full of people with no patience, just wanting to dive into the next quest, the next battle, and expect the next power up to fall into their lap.

"Alchemy? Na, daz like cooking, man - cooking's 4 girls! LULZ!"
"Girls? Are they lik those wraiths Dragon Priests summon 2 cum at you with?"

Sleepy

They don't want to know about learning how to make their own potions even if it would save them money and get them levelled up faster so they'd not go crying about "keep getting killed in Fort Snowhawk - need bigger sword and cheatcodes!" Dodgy

Raging at this guy! After waking up hungover in a temple I'd wrecked after a mead drinking competition in a pub, had to go and sort out all the damage I'd done (including interfering with a goat and marrying a hag) before hunting down the guy who had been with me that night and diddled me out of a magic staff.

So I catch up with this Sam guy (a lot of magic battles later) who turns out to be some evil lord that set me up with all those others I met for a laugh. Got a nice weapon out of it (a cissy looking rose that magics out a familiar that so far has killed everything in sight), but still feel pi$$ed about getting Daedric served! Big Grin

I am now considering starting up the Skyrim Society For The Protection Of Housecarls after seeing the appalling cruelty inflicted upon poor Lydia of Whiterim in this video.

Knew it was a mistake to try some of those Mods available for Skyrim (why are most of them either "increased cleavage" or "unclothed female NPCs"? Dodgy ).

I decided to test out a Dukebox mod (you can play your own music rather than the games) in the Moorside Inn in Morthal. The moment a Metallica song came on, Lurbuk The Bard got up and started playing air guitar.

It's because Skyrim is a game that (im generalizing here, not meaning y'all!) guys with no life play constantly, that's why they have mods for, basically, pornographic material. They can't get a girlfriend and if they can, they keep her around for fun and eventually breakup with her because of something that was out of her control because they're chicken. Anywho, I doubt you'll find a good mod.

Totally agree with Breebree on this one. Some of the people I've noticed on other forums make my skin crawl!

Confused

Ones looking for nude skins. It's Skyrim FFS, not Skyclad! There's one thread on the officials called "whose the hottest female to marry" - to think these are the same ones that poke fun at Sims 3 players for doing that about their game! The real creepy one keeps going on about blasting "bitches" with his "Awesome Staff": no Freudian overtones there of course.

Sleepy

Got this letter given to me today that freaked me out.

I think its the Skyrim branch of PETA. They must be really cross with me killing all those bears, wolves, sabre cats and trolls. Dammit it was self-defence! Alright I sold their fur, can't explain that one away, hit me with a swatter and call me Bad Toad if you must, but doesn't that count as recycling and therefore being ethical?
