First it was dirigeable plums, now it's dirigeable apples! Someone needs to tell those Lovegoods to quit with the Frankenstein food.

I started a new game today (for some reason I just felt like it). My sim has started out too poor to buy a chair so is using the edge of the bathtub for pretty much all seating purposes. Including eating and reading the paper. Quite resourceful, these sims. Reminds me of a place I lived when I was a student, although that was so small you'd need to sit sideways on the tub to avoid bashing your legs on the sink!

Also spotted this insanely dressed alien strolling around town. It's the gloves that really spoil this ensemble in my humble opinion.

LOL, I sit on the edge of the bath reading all the time, well OK when I'm pouring a bath (or drawing a bath as posh people call it).

That alien looks a little bit like Richard O'Brien Shocked

To "draw" a bath is super posh. I don't think I have ever heard someone say it. I have seen it in books. Sounds like someone is going to produce a sketch of the tub.

But "pouring" a bath made me chuckle. "Pouring", Minty?! I envisage teams of starched chambermaids struggling up the back stairs with big buckets of hot water. Hee hee hee!

Weird game today. Could not escape from horses. There were loads of them all over town.

Some were making themselves useful, apparently working at the business offices. Most of these business horses stood around sniffing the tail ends of other horses and daydreaming about briefcases. So weird.

There were also several horses wanting to enlist in the military.

In fact there were so many horses in town I am pretty sure they outnumber the sims!

My game is starting to look like an instalment of Fury!

In other news, I totally rock at football! OK, I do not, but my sim does!

She can even execute a save while lying down with her eyes closed, sleeping quite peacefully. Tongue

It's good that she's getting fitter, as she needs to be able to run away from this freaking university mascot. Nothing scarier than being pursued by a llama on wheels.

Bloody roller llama.

Yes

Oh my! I went to a Spooky Day party (the game allocated this fine medieval garb as my costume), then on to have some fun at the Autumn festival, where I decided to take a walk through the haunted house.....

..... and came out the other side as a ghost!

Waaaaaaah! Shocked

Truly I have never looked more demented.

That uni mascot doesn't look scary in the slightest.

RE: General chat and pictures from your game today
This game is getting very silly. I thought I'd better get my sim knocked up sometime soon, so as to create a new generation and so on, so she started dating Odin Crosby. I am not sure whether it's wise to date someone called Odin but we'll see how things go. He rang up and asked her on a date at the diner, which was fine except that he was too stingy to buy his dinner (wouldn't even go halves, cheap sod) and preferred to stand outside by the bins, in the snow and hail. Super date, I think not. In the meantime, her house was burgled and the police let the fiend escape with the new washing machine. She should have stayed home with a good book and then just adopted a kid later on. In fact I think that's what I might do and then she can dump this Odin fellow.

Or maybe I'll just get her a cat.

Here is a question for anyone who has tried attending a "feast party". I thought that sims should take food with them (because when my sims have held feast parties their guests turned up with plates of all sorts of snacks). So when invited to someone's party, Caspin The Sim made a pumpkin pie and put it in her inventory, but then could not give it to the host, nor put it down anywhere in the house. She could eat a piece herself but that was all. After a while the pie went bad and then she was all in a huff at me for having rotten food in her inventory. If anyone has a clue how to take food to these feasts, could you let me know.

In other news, the game is taking its sweet time over rendering vehicles.

Invisible taxi! Hover-sims! Dunno

Still having fun though. Smile
