No one is really sure when it will come out, and they say if all goes well it will come out six months early,and remember they anounced sims 2 early.

Why announce it so early, then just leave us all so curious? They're leaving us to starve, not feeing us our updates we deserve! If they knew they were going to do this, I still think they shouldn't have got us all excited this early. True. Very true. But, how long has it been since we got anything new? About 2 weeks or something? It's not great, is it? That's the price we have to pay, I guess. They've got to update some time soon though, surely?!

I don't really think this, but I chose "Just to drive us crazy".
What I really think is that they had decided Freetime would be the last EP, and that they'd announce the Sims 3, and see if we go mad without something new until then. Either that or, it's something that slipped out a little too soon, and when rumours begun, they just had to spill. Or, maybe they thought it was in the good enough stages, and people were getting questionable and cranky, so they just announced it. Personally I'm glad to get the information, but I think we should get more and more as it progresses, just to keep us happy -Benji :-* "Oh no, they're breakdance-fighting!" - Zoolander |

Most fans have known they were working on Sims 3 since Sims 2 was released.
But I do wonder about releasing this information if they still have another EP to come. Some people might not buy the EP, as they will be buying Sims 3 soon, and it will get very limited use. It would have to be something like "Apartment Life" to sell well. Something like "Magic" just wouldn't work as well, as the fans are divided about wanting it.

i chose just to drive us crazy... because it's true. the more we go insane, the more we'll accept their insane prices.
i'm no bargain hunter. i'm a sims addict. they can suck it up, cuz when it comes out, i'll chuck all my allowance on it. Tick tock. Tick tock.<br />Only so long before my head explodes in anticipation of TS3.
