They mean we can place books back on the shelves and dispose of rubbish with out cheats.
Without going into BUY mode.

I would just rather do it quickly since the sims never do it themselves without being told.
its not really a feature just a fix of some sort.

i believe that you can still diret a sim to do these actions but now you can do it yourself

You can indeed still direct a Sim to do it, I just... I just don't see the need for this new feature at all, it's not particularly neccessary. It sort of takes away a small particle of why we play The Sims, if you understand me. In real life a hand of glory does not come and clean your bedroom for you when you're too tired to do it.

true..but i doubt it will be that mandatory it will just be something possible to do..its not like its taking away from bigger and better improvements and add-ins.

Yea, they said that some people like the sims to do the work themselves and so there's no need for them to do it. I would mainly use it for deleting the newspaper that comes everyday. I don't want it!
