Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
If he LOOKS 21, then that is already one problem out of the way, people won't give you funny looks. And age doesn't matter (unless it's like 40 years difference or something, that is creepy wrong) so just go ahead with it. {yes}

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
Yay. I've been trying to gauge people's responses, but I'm reallly nervous to tell a lot of my friends. So these responses help. Ahhh...see everyone at this point is like OMG he's amazing! This is a huge catch.

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
There are couples with much larger age differnces than yours, MUCH larger. There isn't anything wrong with yours, and nobody else seems to care and everybody thinks he is amazing, so what is there possibly to worry about? Everything is fine. Smile

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
Yea I know. Its just cause I'm young, if I was 25 it would be no problem. But I'm 18! Anyway, he's really cute, we had a lonngg conversation about it.

You guys have been awesome. Way to be patient with my drama Tongue

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
I love a bit of drama, and I love helping people out and giving them peace of mind. It makes me feel happy and like I have accomplished something, so keep 'em coming eveyone! {rolleyes} Smile

Well, if you ever got married (sorry if this creeps you out), then give it 10 years time, he would be 37 and you would be 28. That sounds fine to me. It's just the 'teen' part of your age that is probably casting doubts. Don't worry, you'll be 20 soon and those will pass.

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
Definitely. The older you get, the less important that gap seems. It won't seem like such a big deal when you're both a few years older. Wink

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
yes i always tried to look at it by looking into the future if i dated someone a few years younger even i would look ahead and say hmm when im 22 they will be 19..and things like that.
so 18 and 27 aint too big a deal.

Re: The Official Nonsense Thread
The only thing is...I couldn't personally date anyone much younger than me or a TON older than me. But I definitely don't look down on those who do. Wink
