I have been trying to create an organized MOD list lately but have been struggling. I have the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. I found two possible sources which could help me:

Whilst I have a decent computer, I was worried about either bloating my directory with too many MODs, or having too many conflictions. Hoped someone here might be able to help me as I've trawled the internet in search of a fix for this to no avail. Basically, I got my Sim to become an infallably good witch, and decided would like to go to magic world tothe palace of neverending light. When I did this however, the building is incorrect (I have some pictures but not sure how to attach here). Now I know the building is incorrect because I've been there when I played the game on another laptop. Since installing i on my new laptop however (which is Windows 8 if that's at all significant?) this hasn't been working. Rather than being the white palace you'd expect it's a row of shops...very odd I know. The same is true of the evil witches palace. Instead of a large black palace, its a small two story house...Any ideas what has caused this issue and how to fix it?

The Dixie Square Mall was a mall located in Harvey IL, USA. It was opened from 1966-1979, and was located on Dixie Highway. What was so special? Despite having 3 high quality Anchor Stores (JCPenny's, Jewel and Wards), and having some very high quality mall designs and a successful few years, the mall closed nearly 14 years after it opened. It was then used as a school for 2 years, and then, it was used as a film set for the film Blues Brothers, where the brothers drive the car through the mall with the cops. After that, the mall sat empty and vacant since the 80s until 2012 when it was finally town down. But in that large 30 year vacancy, it became so dilapidated that many areas collapsed, full grown trees grew within and in the parking lot. Additionally, the mall had many cases of vandalism. In the 90's, a large store, Woolworths, was burned down and torn out. Afterwards, Montgomery wards building was illegally torn to the ground, and later on in the 2000's, a large fire broke out in the Block A entrance where a section collapsed. Finally in 2012, the mall was torn down and the site is seeking use. More information about the mall.

So alot ive been seeing threads on other sites about people wanting to see the cut power outage scenario, so i made a video. I hope you enjoy.
The video will lag around the middle because of a conversion error, but fixes towards the 3/4 of the video.

Basically to restore the scenario, you need to download the weather sphere from another site. (When i remember the site, ill list it).
It includes access to the power outage scenario, which completely works. (Turns off all lights, and other powered objects, and starts a timer.)]]>
