RP's, which I might have ruined... But anyway I would like to create a new one, I guess you could call it a reboot.

RULES:
Pretty much the same as the first 2 ones
1. Only talk in third person, except for POV's (Point of view's).
2. Only swear if it is necessary and if you must swear please censor it.
3. Do your best to make you part understandable (with grammar, spelling, etc.), interesting and descriptive.

The concept:
In this "Whodunit?" we are all invited to a island resort, when we get to the resort we find nobody there and soon people in the resort begin to go missing and turn up dead, hence the name "Whodunit?" (Who did it?).


Considering we don't have many regulars here you can bring in random people just to make it more interesting.

Anyways i'll start off.

The small plane carrying a small group of people finally landed. They had all received free tickets to the resort after entering a competition on the internet a couple of weeks ago. After they all climbed out of the plane a bus was waiting to take them to the resort. The group was all on the edge of their seats looking at the beautiful scenery through the bus windows. around 2 hours passed until they made it to the resort.
"Look's kinda deserted don't you think?" Ollie mentioned, looking out the bus window.
"Something doesn't feel quite right," Minty said.
"We're here, time to get out," the rough-looking bus driver pulled over and forced them out of the bus. The bus then sped off.
"Well here we are," Caspin said. "In the middle of freaking nowhere." Description: A small (for his age) white male. He has 2 kids and a Wife. His marriage is slowly tearing itself apart. He has been working as an arson detective for 13 years.

let's start:
i couldn't believe what I was looking at when I arrived at the scene. Four homes had been completely destroyed in an arson attack on Revent street in the small and sleepy town of Rosewood. In my 13 years as an arson detective I had never seen anything like this. Plenty of news teams had arrived to tell of the horrific event. Four people had died due to the fire and another seven were still in hospital.

It was now 6:10 am and the fires had started at around 3:00 am. I decided to talk to Mrs. Heraldson, a worried, restless neighbour who looked to be in her 60's.
"Ma'am could you explain to me what happened here?" I asked kindly.
"Well I... I was sleeping and then... then I heard three loud noises which woke me up", Mrs. Heraldson stuttered."The loud noises went like 'B... B... BANG!' and then another one 'B... BANG!' and a... another one."
"Was there anything else?" I questioned her.
"Why yes there w... was," Mrs. Heraldson answered."I heard tires screeching right after the loud b... bangs. I then came to my dining room window and I didn't see anything, so I went back to bed. As soon as I smelt s... smoke I rang the fire d... d... department."
"Did you know any of the people that lived in any of the homes?" I asked her.
"Yes, I know the Timble's, who live right n.. next to me," She said." They're a lovely bunch, they h.. helped m.. me out with my c.. c... comp, urgh how you say it, computer. I just loved little Tommy Timble he's a... a cute little b.. boy".
"Is there anything else you'd like to tell me?" I politely asked.
"N... N... No, thats all", Mrs. Heraldson finished.
"Thank you for your co-operation ma'am, its greatly appreciated," I thanked her.


Mrs. Heraldson had said she heard tires schreeching. I searched the road for tire marks left. There was quite a few light tire marks on the road. They all looked to be different types of tires, so I had someone check them out to see where they might be from.]]>

Intro:

There's many of them, coming from a secret source, such as the first card you are given, the FLY card, which was caught through a flying beast, one of the only actual "monster" looking Cards. This is where Cardcatchers come in, so please do join!

Name: Suki Mizamika
Age: 12 and a half
Fortuna Staff: Long and purple, with wispy lines and an eagles head at the bottom
Appearance: Long black hair, with bangs and a slightly wavy fringe, light blue eyes, (anime style ) , 5'1 and quite cutesy in the way she dresses.
About her: Suki moved to the island when her father went to work at a research facility, she spends her days down at the beautiful sandy beaches, under the swaying arching palm trees, just looking around her, with the gentle breeze blowing her hair, but her lazy life is about to end, as she'll be taken on great adventures around the island, and through Japan, catching the beautiful and haunting Cardians, which have been terrorising the villages, despite their beautiful lady like statures.

Roxanne is tall and thin. She has brown hair which falls past her shoulders. Her eyes are green.

The icy October hair stung my lungs has I breathed. Piles of autumn leaves crunched underfoot. Dad would be angry when I got home... he didn't like me walking around town alone. Especially at night. I warmed my hands by blowing on them and rubbing them together. I reached the corner of my street and stopped. It was quiet. I could hear the waves lapping against the rocks across the road... smell the salt of the sea. I couldn't see the ocean, though, the fog was too thick. Suddenly I heard something rustle in my neighbour's hedges. I began walking faster towards my house. I ran to the door to find it locked. I banged my fist loudly. The door opened.
"Where the HELL have you been?" My Dad was not happy.
"I'm sorry," I tried but I wouldn't have it.

So I've decided to shine a little light on this section and start out with a new RP 


So, without further ado, it's time for the premiere of In Wonderland! *cues music*

Description: You've all heard the story of Alice In Wonderland right? (Well, not all of you, but it's about a little girl who goes into the wacky world of... well Wonderland of course)

Since Alice had left Wonderland, the world has became a twisted and disturbing world filled with chaos and menacing card gaurds, the queen has turned even more evil than you could imagine, and it's plunged into darkness.

Now for my character
Name: Rebecca Filch
Age: 11
Personality: Rebecca is a kind and gentle little girl, who loves nothing more than to play in her own little imaginary world of Cutopia, but when she is kidnapped by card gaurds in the night, she is thrown down a slightly less different way than a rabbit hole. Her birthday was about to take place later on that day, so, what shall it be like for her when her birthday is spending a while in a REAL twisted and disturbing world?
Looks: Rebecca is quite small in stature, she's 4'11 but her big melodramtic and dreamy attitude certainly makes her the centre of attention, she can get quite crazy at sometimes and she's very adventurous, the only thing that really scares her is spiders, but none the less, she doesn't get phased by certain things, she put up a fight during the card gaurds kidnapping. Her hair is a light auburn, a reddish tone to it, and it comes to her elbows in beautiful riotious curls, her clothes are quite cute, when she was kidnapped, she wore a light pink dress, complete with white bodice, embrodiered with flower and petal designs on the outside, with a tulip shaped white skirt, white leggings and small pointed black shoes.

Sooo, when we get a few more characters, we shall start! I'm really excited for this RP (I'm kinda thinking Cassie might join since she loves Alice In Wonderland, and this is kind of based on it :3)]]>

I was trying to go with the whole naming tradition with roleplays here xD

Here's the backstory, with 'you' being your character.

You and a handful of others have been selected by your clan's leader. The leader has found out that another handful of his vampires, ones that he thought were loyal, have left the clan on a mission to be founders of their own clan. Only, that their previous leader isn't so giving to rouges, and isn't so free to let anyone go.

So he's assigned you and some of his other most trustworthy vampires to search for them. Their trackers have narrowed it down to one near by city: New York. It is up to you and your possy to hunt them down and bring them back to the leader to be brought to justice for leaving the clan against the group's law.

However, beware that the rouge vampires have already had enough time to start bringing in some vampires of their own, either from creation or others looking for a clan to be part of. This may end out in a war, or it could end peacefully. It is up to you and the others to bring these vampires in, whether it is peacefully or in ashes.

Heh, some bad word choice there, but I think we'll all live, yes? Me and Andrew thought of the above, so any details can still be changed, me thinks, nothing is written in stone.

Here are the general RP rules.


~ Play As Your Own Character, and Your Own Only. No playing Swappy the Character
~ No Mary or Gary Sues. This means that they are perfect and can do whatever they want. Guess what, no one can.
~ This should go without saying, but try to keep it in the context of the board's age group. No R rated crap here lol
~ No Godmoding or Powerplaying.

GMing is when you kill or do anything else that can alter the other people's character forever, without talking to them first. PPing is when you force another character to do something that you placed in your post. An example is "(Other Person's Character Name Here) lend me a hand then we ran". That is assuming that they'll lend you a hand. Try to write your posts in an "non-assuming" way, by asking the character for a hand. Playing battle scenes need to be posted very carefully because this can easily happen (Trust me, I've done this so many times before). So instead of saying "Jack grabbed Jill and punched her then he moved on to do blah blah blah" it assumes that Jill didn't block Jack, punched him back, threw him on the ground, etc etc. When someone does this, the other person usually has to jump through hoops to make it seem "real" that their character is actually fighting back. Just take it one step at a time

Basic Plot...

So the idea is basically rather simple - we are all on a boat on a... cruise.

There's a major gas leak for an unknown reason, and the boat is destroyed in the explosion following. Many people were killed but some survived. The survivors managed to get into a lifeboat but were all dumped into the ocean due to the shockwaves following the explosion

They are all washed up on the shore of an island which, of course, is in the middle of nowhere.

The island is habitable - it's fertile, there are lots of plants, animals and drinkable water - you know, that kind of thing.

However, they are the only humans there, and they have no contact with the outside world. They must rely on one another [once they meet, of course] to survive.

Rules...

1. No superpowers - this is going to be somewhat grounded in reality. Somewhat being the key word. XD

2. Characters can die, but that's decision belongs to both the GM [a.k.a me] or the actual person who's RP'ing as that character. Other people cannot kill off someone's character, although...

3. ... there may be fighting. But I'm talking brawls, not open war against one another.

4. Romance is allowed, but please, keep it tasteful. =P

5. No tagteaming.

1.Broke
Brandi, and her sons Dustin, Beau, and her Unborn Son Broke make up the Broke household. She is the daughter of Bob Newbie and Betty Newbie. She's trying to take care of her children on her own after her husband's death. Her son Dustin is a troubled teen who's doing badly in school and is in the Criminal Career. He is dating Angela Pleasant. How will brandi manage?

2.Caliente
Sisters Dina and Nina. They moved into town the day before Bella disapeared, and many rumors say they caused her disapearance. Dina Caliente is dating Mortimer Goth, but only for the money. Nina Caliente is in love with Don Lothario but doesn't know that he's dating her, his maid Kaylynn Langerak, her own sister Dina, and is engaged to Cassandra Goth. If Dina gets what she wants how will Nina bare on her own.

3.Dreamer
Darren and his son Dirk. Darren Dreamer is raising his son Dirk on his own ever since his wife, Darleen Dreamer, died. Darren is secretly in love with Cassandra Goth, but she's engaged to Don Lothario and only likes him as a friend. Dirk is dating Lilith Pleasant. Can Darren beat the cougar to the ring?

The pleasants are anything pleasant BUT pleasant, Daniel Pleasant and Mary-Sue, and their twin daughters Angela and Lilith. Daniel is having an affair with the maid Kaylynn without Mary-Sue, his workaholic wife, knowing. Mary-sue is too caught up in her work for her family and besides the twins hating each other they have some issues in their love life to catch up with.

Inside the order of the families - each sim should be Role played. So first we will play Brandi broke first then Dustin then Dina then Nina and so on. Only children and older will be role played. When you role play don't make this so easy for the sims.. make yourself feel bad for them, make the sims want revenge on each other so... DRAMA!

The guys are regular Casanovas, with girls tripping over themselves to get their attention. Preps- They are the fashionistas, the most popular kids, the cheerleaders, the rich kids. Known for being very beautiful, very well dressed, but also incredibly shallow and manipulative, as well as self-centered and egotistical. Furthermore, they’re often outrageous flirts and teases, constantly playing with the emotions of others.

Trouble-makers/Badasses- These are the kids you don’t want to mess with. Tough as nails, they walk around with a huge chip on their shoulder, prepared to strike at anything that dares to cross them. Goths – The perpetually troubled, deep, emotional kids. They don the darkest clothing they can find, wear thick, heavy, and dramatic makeup. Often, they are incredibly pale. These are some of the most artistic kids in school, however. Be it poetry, painting, or music, one thing is for sure—they’ve mastered one type or the other, as a means to express their angst and deepest emotions. Sadly, they are often given the label of freaks, because they can be misunderstood.

They are the only ones who can deafeat him, but they will have to try and beat his 7 "Sanctuary Warriors" people with a strong force that help him along with his army.

There are 4 characters, 4 weapons and here they are!

Axel: The carrier of the Sadonix ( Long Magical Sword, it also grants him the power to fly) he has fire-red hair and is normally known as the leader. (PLAYED BY ME)
Zifa: The carrier of the Danoscria's ( Wheel - Shaped blades that can be used like a boomerang, blades or shooting deveices, it's also made of glass) A beautiful girl, but it doesn't mean she can't rule over many oppenents of Atamos's army. Mostly seen wearing a green and white headband, with her black, flowing hair. Normally known as the under-dog and the acrobatist. (PLAYED BY TOM, LOLZ.)
Trojan: The carrier of the Roarkothis ( Large War-Hammer that is tremendously powerful and it makes the carrier strong then they ever imagined) Trojan is the muscle bound warrior of the group and is the strongest of all of the  Staggero Stone carriers. He has brown hair and a ruggid look (even for a 16 year-old.) (PLAYED BY ANDREW)
Vendillah: The carrier of the Massaia ( A Magical Book which carries many spells, it also turns into a long staff or a bow and arrow for fighting with.)
Vendillah is very quiet, perfect for carrying spell books. She isn't a under-dog like Tifa, she's actually very skilled. She has glasses but strangly loses them whenever she fights, she also has shortish hair that turns from blonde to white when fighting. (PLAYED BY JENI, OR MAJICK)

Some start by talking to the readers, if they are the more friendly type Either way, the plot is usually first. ((all examples will be located in the next post. Excuse the double post, but I'm afraid that all my explaining && the RP will get mixed up D: ))
Then, you could state the setting. Place, date, weather. . . you know (:
There's always gotta' be some rules, so throw those in there somewhere.
Then maybe if there are pre-made things that you have created for others to use, they will go somewhere in the post ((i'll have pre-made powers and things that you can choose to give to your character.))

More than likely the creator will throw in their intro; or just state that they'll post it when someone joins. Sometimes people want others to ask to join before they go off and start role playing (: && the creator usually holds the right to kick you out of the role play. Yes, it's harsh, but sometimes there are certain circumstances of which you broke the rules or something and your just. . . gone! Be careful.

Now, the big point I'm trying to get to here is, you control YOUR character(s) and YOURS only!

(me Sasha walked up to the store and saw Corbin. "Hey, Corbin!" she shouted.
(other person "Oh, hey, Sasha." Corbin greeted.
on and on. If someone seems to be ignoring your character, bring it to the RP creator ((or someone's)) attention.

Most people use ooc && bic.
OOC: out of character - not roleplaying, but simply chatting or discusing something with the others, without the confusion of it being part of the RP or not.
BIC: back in character - usually only used after an OOC to let the others know that they are now role playing again.
