A poem I wrote during freetime in math today. - yoshman9000 - 07-05-2009 10:32 PM

Its not really a poem, its more like dialog. Though I put it in a poem format because Its really short. Well, enjoy! Big Grin

I starred
At my enemy
Her green eyes
Were gleaming in the sun

I slowly
Picked up my knife
And aimed it at her
Ready to kill her

The knife
Was shining
And was furiously bright
In her eyes

I looked
Up at the sky
Praying for victory

Warmth wrapped
Around my body
But not from
The hot summer day

My enemy
Had embraced
Myself
In her arms

I glanced
Down at her
And saw her
Crying salty tears

She climbed
Onto my head
And pressed her lips
Against mine

I shockingly
Widened my eye lids
And wrapped my arms
Around her

My adhorrence
For this girl
Had turned
Into deep love

And love was destined to stay

interesting and weird, but I like it.  I sometimes write poems in school too actually.  Smile

Thanks.

Its about two people who were sentenced to kill each other, but end up falling in love.

Yes, I'm weird like that.  Tongue

hey, without weirdness life would be so boring.  I'm weird myself so I totally get that lol!  Actually knowing the background to your poem makes me like it even more...and appreciate it more.

Yaaay, you kept writing. I love it. I had the sudden urge to annotate it... ehm, weird I know. But we're studying poems in English and we have to annotate them all. Zzzz. xP
I love how he sets out intending to kill her though, and in the end he falls in love... sort of like my fandom ships, but a bit more dramatic [with the knife and killing and all that, lol].
How long did it take you to write that? Just a lesson?

It took me literally ten minutes to write this. I did it on my own. 8)

Nice ^^
I write poems myself. There should be a poetry thread :]
I never really heard of people falling in love and they were eniemes. Except Romeo and Juliet.
Very clever.
