You'll need to explain to the rest of us how that all works, this "credits" thing. Is it you need to pass so many in a year to be allowed into the next grade or does it go towards your final exams?

Yeah that's pretty much it You need 80 (I think) credits to gain NCEA Level 1. Same for Levels 2 and 3. Level 3 is required for University entry. If I get 50/80 credits endorsed with excellence, then I'll get NCEA Level 1 with Excelllence. Which is good.
