Yes I prefer an intact flake in my ice-cream, straight from the fridge so it's nice and firm and doesn't melt in your hand. However some folk prefer chocolate sprinkles on their ice-cream and since I didn't have any proper sprinkles, it was necessary to do a bit of flake conversion. The flake doesn't go all over the place as long as you whack it while it's still in the packet (hey I made a rhyme)!

Right now I'm enjoying a cup of tea and getting ready to make some phone calls.

How was your holiday?

Right now I am rolling my foot under my desk on some kind of foot massaging device. It's supposed to help with a stupid damaged nerve under my foot that makes it feel like I'm walking on marbles and like my toes will snap off when I walk. It's a pain! Sad

Scrumptious! It was great! Such a relaxing place... and it's gotten really cold here so I'd do anything to be back in the warmth! Trying to suss out a ski trip during the holidays so here's hoping that works out.

Taking headache tablets, it's so muggy right now!

Sorry I've not been on much the last few days, I've been going through app forms needing done & losing my will to live in the process.

Hope the headache goes away. The weather seems to have improved down here, with alternating proper rain and sunshine, rather than all weathers combined into some sort of madness. Keep on going with those applications, one of them has to pay off sooner or later!

Right now I'm soaking my stupid sore foot in painkiller gel to see if I can get to the point of walking normally again. For the last few days I've been limping so I resemble Herr Flick (but only because of the limping, there is no other similarity) and it's putting my hip out. I'm turning old before my time here!

Hello Minty! Hope you're feeling better.

Didn't do anything in particular to my silly foot - there's a damaged nerve near my toes, apparently, so the pain comes and goes as it wishes. Happily today it is feeling much better and I am able to walk more normally. Yesterday it took a ridiculous 35 minutes for me to walk to the bus stop from my house, today I got it back down to the normal 15 minutes. I am very happy about it! Smile

Right now I am trying to synchronise music on my iPod - and wishing they'd stop changing the format of blood iTunes!

I used to have the iCloud on my Pc because I'd bought tunes & eBooks from iTunes, but it always seemed to be broken, was always looking for updates & refused to uninstall (I ended up doing so the brutal way).

I decided Amazon would be less hassle (some of you remembering a certain incident will know the irony of THAT one!).

It is half ten & I am roasting. They're forecasting heavy rain tomorrow but I don't see it.

I'm an old fashioned girl when it comes to music - in that I still buy CDs. Yes

I have no objection to digital downloads, I just like to have the physical CD and the artwork. If I bought a lot of singles then I'd probably download them, but I really only like albums so I like to have the lyrics and pictures and things that come with it. iTunes works fine for me but they keep fiddling with the format. It's looked different every time I've opened it in the last few months. Last night it was driving me crazy because to drag and drop an album from iTunes to my iPod was unclear - you couldn't see where you were going to drop until you started to drag! But I got there in the end.

Right now I'm sitting at work looking at my computer with sunglasses on. Hayfever has been just awful the last few days and my eyes are bloodshot. I swear everyone must think I'm hungover. No fair!
