Reinstalling, ugh! Clearing the house & redecorating feels easier than doing that with TS3. I'm not going to touch the new patch until Twallan updates the lot & there is confirmation they've not changed the code so you have to be in Origin to play it.

I think the headache is coming from a pain point to the back & left of my neck. If I lie on it while sleeping I can expect to awaken with a thumper. One day I may go & get it checked out.

I have managed to finish my installation, although it'll take me an age to download my Store stuff again. That's a job for another day. But I can use my big spreadsheet! Managed to get through all the a EPs with only one G&T. Store stuff needs Jaffa cakes. Them's the rules.

I just hope it works and isn't all in vain! Everything is on the solid state drive now, so hopefully the computer won't get so hot. Poor pootter.

Right now I'm testing out playing TS3 on the iMac. It looks as though they have achieved greater stability with the new patch by making the graphics look more crap. Cheers for that EA! Oh well, I shall keep going and see if I can get it looking a bit more crisp. Going to stick a few mods back in as well. I need the animal control function of Register to get all these bloody deer from bouncing around the house. There's loads of them! And I swear every sim in town has instantly spawned 50 cars each to carry about in their backpacks.

Killing time in a station. There's a lot of pigeons in here (*imagines Ollie reaching for a rifle*) and some people are feeding them. Clue-free!

I wonder where they moved the paddington bear statue to? Surely they haven't got rid of it. The place it used to occupy is now a burrito hut. I suppose I could walk about and look for it. Or not.

It could be the Paddington statue has been taken away to be cleaned up in time for that movie's release next year.

None of our stations locally have pigeons anymore because they put spikes onto the roof girders to keep them off, so they've no roosting places.

Right now I'm about to do some back reading again of A Game Of Thrones. I've rewatched season one & it makes more sense when done so after reading the books. I now understand why Cersei hates (or rather fears) Tyrion so much, & also has a fear of girls prettier than her over & above mere jealousy. I won't say anything more, except it appears a certain writer has been ripping off a certain Shakespeare play set in Scotland. Also, the reason why Stannis Baratheon & his mad priestess do more dirty tricks than the Lannisters makes much more sense too (the old "the bigger picture than the big picture" trope)

I did in fact find the statue. It was in the exact same location as it has always been. A lot of people had sat down on its plinth to eat their burritos, so it was merely obscured from view when I first went by. I am surprisingly dim sometimes.

The pigeons in Paddington are on the floor, so I think there are probably spikes on the girders there too. Large numbers of people share their sandwiches with them, particularly those bright sparks standing next to the large "please do not feed the pigeons" signs.
