And how do you forget something like that? {rolleyes} Tongue

Are you still rereading then?
HUSH. I was busyyyy. ;D
Yeah I am. Just when I'm not so lazy XD
Why is it that the British version of HP is different from the American version? Like why does it have different book covers? what`s the difference?

xD
It's British & American? Haha. The difference is the sayings. British have different sayings then us. We just made em' improper. {rolleyes}
lool idk, all i know is its philosophers over here, and sorcerers there.  {freaked}
It's kay, I'm not rushing through it either xP
I plan to be rather lazy this holiday. :3
Usually am on Christmas anyway. So. Yeah. {rolleyes}

And Steven, just lots of small things. Literally just lots of odd words changed for pointless reasons IMO.

Go here and scroll down to 'Individual Books', there's a set of differences for each book.

& I hate people regarding it as Sorcerer's. Jo has said she regrets letting them change it, and it's always going to be the PHILOSOPHER'S. I'll even find the quote if you like. PHILOSOPHER'S. {closedeyes}
I just think that the British version is much more better and original. Its only North America that has the versions changes right? The rest of the countries, like Sam in Australia still have the British version right, or no? Anyways, when I go to the U.K. (which I am planning too in or after college), I will buy the whole collection of HP in British version and read it from the beginning to the end.
I have the books from 1-5 in British verison Big Grin
I feel special.
I hope to get the last 2 from my aunt & uncle! Then my collection shall be complete. *hugs self*
The reason people tend to prefer the UK versions is because the American ones are edited to reflect your culture. You don't acknowledge it while reading, but they do make these kids seem a little American in the US version, when they're supposed to be British kids. Or when the books use a British word that you probably wont understand, they'll change that.

I mean, look at how many changes are in this list...

Most of them are so pointless...
I have never read the US ones, only read the differences. I'd love to read the US versions just to see how obvious the changes are.
oh I see!
but I could still understand!
but imo, the book covers in U.S. looks more better than the British version...
x3
I kind of think so tooo. Sowwah Cassie xD

I like saying Philosopher :3
